Smores and Shores

A couple of Page family firsts occurred a few weeks ago and were shared with some new friends, the Limroths, on the southern coast of France in Cap D'Agde.  We were invited to go camping and, while we did entertain the idea of tents and campfires and all out roughing it, we decided to go the posh way and stay in a mobile home complete with toilet, shower, bed, kitchen with refrigerator.  So, while labeling it "camping" may be a stretch, it was our first Page family camping trip and it was a lovely long weekend getaway full of beach time, pick up soccer games, hopscotch, late night poker games, dinners shared with friends and smores - another Page children first...  even for Freddie!  I didn't think you could be American and 36 years old and have never tried a smore.  Alas, c'est possible.
