Christmas Cookie Swap 2011

For the past three years, friends and I have hosted a Christmas cookie swap for a few of our closest friends in Clermont-Ferrand, France.  The ladies are from all over the world and it has been so fun to introduce everyone to this very American holiday tradition.

This year my good friend, Claire, and I held the annual swap at her beautiful home.  Everyone brought the most gorgeous cookies.  We asked everyone to bring 4 dozen cookies and with 27 attendees that is a whole lotta sugar and butter and yummy-ness!

Here are some photos from our fun ladies night in.  Enjoy!

My beautiful friends.. both old (as in have known for a long time ;) and new!

Intense game of Christmas Film and Carol charades

Bene's Acceptance Speech for winning the prize for the last person to arrive.. really, who else would be worthy of this prize?

And about 1/3 of the gorgeous cookies!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a wonderful holiday filled with peace, love and lots of cookies!
